WWE officials are already planning for WrestleMania and a new report suggests that a great match is being planned.
WrestleMania 34 is scheduled to be held on April 8, 2018 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
This event is broadcast on PPV and WWE Network, and is the most successful and longest-running professional wrestling event in history. The Raw and SmackDown lists will appear on the card.
According to WrestleVotes, who has broken WWE news in the past, SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon is “ready to participate” in a major WrestleMania bout.
The match is expected to be part of his ongoing fight with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
However, it should be noted that there are still doubts about who will be the opponent or possible partner of Shane.
This marks the second season of McMahon with the sports entertainment company. In 2009, McMahon announced his resignation from WWE that went into effect on January 1, 2010.
He would later become CEO of the entertainment services company YOU On Demand at the end of 2010.
However, on July 12, 2013, McMahon voluntarily resigned as CEO of YOU On Demand and appointed Weicheng Liu as his successor, while remaining as chief executive officer and vice president of the board.
Fast forward to February 22, 2016, returned to WWE as a character on screen.
During his time with the company as a wrestler, he won the European Championship once and the Hardcore Championship once, and he fought in the main event of multiple WWE payouts for views.
It is well known by now that Brock Lesnar has been scheduled to face Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 34. This has been the plan for some time.
At one point, WWE officials talked about getting John Cena to face Reigns at WrestleMania, but WWE briefly changed the main event SummerSlam from being Lesnar defending the WWE Universal Championship against Braun Strowman to Lesnar vs. Reigns
