Former NFL Pro Bowl defensive end Greg Hardy will return to the mixed martial arts cage.
Hardy, 29, who trains with the top American team, will compete in an amateur heavyweight fight at LFA 33 in Dallas on February 16.
The 2-0 Hardy will face Ryan Chester (2-1).
Hardy played for the 2010-14 Carolina Panthers and won a place in the Pro Bowl in 2013, then played for Dallas in 2015. He was involved in a domestic violence case in 2014, so he was eventually suspended by the NFL in 2015 .
Hardy scored the stoppage wins in 32 seconds and 1:36, respectively, in his first two amateur bouts.
The LFA 33 is led by an undefeated welterweight showdown as Kyle Stewart (9-0) will face Jaleel Willis (8-0) in a show that will air on AXS-TV.
